In Friday's non-league contest, the host Jefferson Bulldogs basketball team scored a big 71-45 triumph over the Grace Community Cougars.
The Bulldogs (11-2) will now prepare for their contest against Pollok Central (Pollok, TX). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 12-8 record. In their last contest, Pollok Central smashed Newton (Newton, TX), 83-36, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Cougars battle the Bishop Gorman Crusaders (Tyler, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 27. Grace Community will attempt to better on its 10-7 season record. The Crusaders go into the contest with a 13-3 record after their 83-25 non-league win over Cross Roads (Malakoff, TX).
