In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Hobart Bearcats basketball team scored a big 64-34 triumph over the Snyder Cyclones.

The Bearcats (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Cordell (Cordell, OK). The Blue Devils go into the non-league contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Cordell was trounced by Mountain View-Gotebo (Mountain View, OK), 54-33, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Cyclones confront the Mangum Tigers (Mangum, OK) in a Shortgrass contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Snyder will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 3-2 record after their 59-38 non-league win over Indiahoma (Indiahoma, OK).
