The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the St. Michael Catholic Cardinals (Fairhope, AL) and the visiting Houston Academy Raiders (Dothan, AL), observed St. Michael Catholic's basketball team overwhelm Houston Academy by a margin of 71-38.

The Cardinals (5-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Providence Christian (Dothan, AL). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 9-1 record. In their last challenge, Providence Christian trounced Headland (Headland, AL), 65-32, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Raiders battle the Bayside Academy Admirals (Daphne, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 21. Houston Academy will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Admirals come into the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 52-47 non-league loss to Gulf Shores (Gulf Shores, AL).
