Texas High School Basketball - Kermit bested by Reagan County

Reagan County Owls (Big Lake, TX) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Kermit Yellow Jackets (Kermit, TX), 62-52 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Reagan County advances its record to 11-3 on the year. The Owls travel to Whitharral (Whitharral, TX) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Thursday, December 26. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 7-4. Whitharral won 74-24 in their recent non-league match against Jemez Valley (Jemez Pueblo, NM)

The Yellow Jackets now own a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Compass Academy for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 7. Kermit will face a squad coming off a 79-45 league loss to Brownfield (Brownfield, TX). The record now stands at 7-4.
