Indiana High School Basketball - Lake Central can't hold off Mishawaka Marian

Mishawaka Marian Knights (Mishawaka, IN) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN), 59-56 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Mishawaka Marian upgrades its record to 5-2 on the year. The Knights travel to Niles (Niles, MI) to face the Vikings in a non-league match on Saturday, December 21. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 4-3. Niles won 65-61 in their recent league match against Paw Paw (Paw Paw, MI)

The Indians now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carmel for a non-league match on Friday, December 27. Lake Central will face a Greyhounds squad coming off a 74-36 non-league win over Kokomo (Kokomo, IN). The Greyhounds record now stands at 5-1.
