The Lambert Longhorns basketball team scored 60 points and limited the visiting Lanier Longhorns to 51 in the Longhorns non-league triumph on Friday.

The Longhorns now have a 10-1 record. They play next when they travel to William Blount for a non-league game on Friday, December 27. Lambert will confront a Governors team coming off a 59-56 non-league loss to McMinn Central (Englewood, TN). The Governors record now stands at 3-7.

With the loss, Lanier falls to 7-7 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to Dutchtown (Hampton, GA) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Friday, December 27. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 10-2. Dutchtown won 56-34 in their recent non-league game against Cullman (Cullman, AL)
