Colorado High School Basketball - Village holds off Lincoln

December 20, 2024: Colorado Springs, CO 80920

The Village Mountaineers basketball team scored 47 points and limited the visiting Lincoln Lancers to 45 in the Mountaineers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Mountaineers now have a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Liberty for a non-league game on Monday, January 6. Village will confront a Lancers team coming off a 88-76 non-league win over Falcon (Falcon, CO). The Lancers record now stands at 6-1.

With the loss, Lincoln falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Arvada (Arvada, CO) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Saturday, December 21. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 0-7. Arvada lost 44-41 in their recent non-league game against Village (Colorado Springs, CO)
