The Lynx (7-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Starmont (Arlington, IA). The Stars come into the Tri-Rivers challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Starmont was routed by Edgewood-Colesburg (Edgewood, IA), 68-31, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Cedar Valley Christian Huskies (Cedar Rapids, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 2. Maquoketa Valley will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 80-62 non-league loss to Wapsie Valley (Fairbank, IA).
