The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Norcom Greyhounds (Portsmouth, VA) and the visiting Veritas Collegiate Academy Spartans (Chesapeake, VA), observed Norcom's basketball team overcome Veritas Collegiate Academy by a margin of 66-58.

The Greyhounds (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Kecoughtan (Hampton, VA). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Kecoughtan dropped by Churchland (Portsmouth, VA), 67-48, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the Franklin Broncos (Franklin, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 21. Veritas Collegiate Academy will attempt to better on its 8-4 season record. The Broncos come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 79-59 non-league win over Nandua (Onley, VA).
