Colorado High School Basketball - Payson knocks off Smoky Hill

December 20, 2024: Aurora, CO 80015

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Payson Lions (Payson, UT) and the host Smoky Hill Buffaloes (Aurora, CO), observed Payson's basketball team overcome Smoky Hill by a margin of 63-44.

The Lions (10-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Capital (Boise, ID). The Golden Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 7-1 record. In their last challenge, Capital defeated Chino (Chino, CA), 86-47, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Buffaloes battle the Faith Lutheran Crusaders (Las Vegas, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 21. Smoky Hill will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 62-59 non-league win over Spanish Fork (Spanish Fork, UT).
