Indiana High School Basketball - Rensselaer Central routs South Newton

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Rensselaer Central Bombers basketball team scored a big 68-46 triumph over the South Newton Rebels.

The Bombers (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Lafayette Central Catholic (Lafayette, IN). The Knights go into the Hoosier - West contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Lafayette Central Catholic was trounced by Rossville (Rossville, IN), 69-50, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Rebels battle the Frontier Falcons (Chalmers, IN) in a Midwest contest, on Saturday, December 21. South Newton will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record. The Falcons go into the contest with a 3-3 record after their 54-43 non-league loss to Clinton Prairie (Frankfort, IN).
