California High School Basketball - San Marcos thwarts Scripps Ranch

December 20, 2024: San Marcos, CA 92069

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the San Marcos Knights (San Marcos, CA) and the visiting Scripps Ranch Falcons (San Diego, CA), observed San Marcos's basketball team knock off Scripps Ranch by a score of 72-57.

The Knights (10-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Rancho Buena Vista (Vista, CA). The Longhorns come into the non-league challenge with a 7-3 record. In their last challenge, Rancho Buena Vista prevailed over Orange Glen (Escondido, CA), 84-25, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Falcons encounter the Canyon Crest Academy Ravens (San Diego, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 21. Scripps Ranch will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Ravens come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 73-70 non-league loss to Poway (Poway, CA).
