The South Portland Red Riots basketball team scored 63 points and limited the host Sanford Spartans to 46 in the Red Riots league triumph on Friday.

The Red Riots now have a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Bonny Eagle for a AA South game on Friday, December 27. South Portland will confront a Scots team coming off a 58-54 non-league win over Kennebunk (Kennebunk, ME). The Scots record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, Sanford falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Spartans host Oxford Hills (South Paris, ME) to confront the Vikings in a non-league game on Monday, December 23. The Vikings go into the game with a record of 5-2. Oxford Hills won 67-42 in their recent non-league game against Lawrence (Fairfield, ME)
