Nebraska High School Basketball - Sutton routs St. Cecilia

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Sutton Mustangs basketball team scored a big 72-35 triumph over the St. Cecilia Bluehawks.

The Mustangs (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Nebraska Christian (Central City, NE). The Eagles go into the D1 District 3 contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Nebraska Christian was trounced by High Plains (Polk, NE), 82-49, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Bluehawks battle the Fillmore Central Panthers (Geneva, NE) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. St. Cecilia will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 4-2 record after their 55-44 non-league win over Wilber-Clatonia (Wilber, NE).
