The Berea Pirates basketball team scored 57 points and limited the host Sayre Spartans to 54 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Friday.

The Pirates now have a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Henry County for a non-league game on Friday, December 27. Berea will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 59-42 non-league loss to Switzerland County (Vevay, IN). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-7.

With the loss, Sayre falls to 6-1 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Lee County (Beattyville, KY) to confront the Bobcats in a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. The Bobcats go into the game with a record of 1-3.
