The Stayton Eagles basketball team scored 45 points and limited the visiting Creswell Bulldogs to 31 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now have a 6-0 record. They play next when they travel to Marist for a non-league game on Saturday, December 21. Stayton will confront a Spartans team coming off a 47-38 non-league win over Pleasant Hill (Pleasant Hill, OR). The Spartans record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Creswell falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Pleasant Hill (Pleasant Hill, OR) to confront the Billies in a 3A Mountain Valley game on Saturday, December 21. The Billies go into the game with a record of 5-4. Pleasant Hill lost 47-38 in their recent non-league game against Marist (Eugene, OR)
