In Friday's non-league contest, the host Frontier Regional Red Hawks basketball team scored a big 74-18 triumph over the Ludlow Lions.

The Red Hawks (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Franklin County Tech (Turners Falls, MA). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Franklin County Tech smashed Mohawk Trail Regional (Buckland, MA), 40-26, in a league contest.
