The Hanson Beavers basketball team scored 38 points and limited the visiting Scotland/Menno Trappers to 30 in the Beavers league triumph on Friday.
The Beavers now have a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Sioux Falls Christian for a non-league game on Monday, December 30. Hanson will confront a Chargers team coming off a 63-57 league win over Elk Point-Jefferson (Elk Point, SD). The Chargers record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Scotland/Menno falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Trappers host Ethan (Ethan, SD) to confront the Rustlers in a non-league game on Friday, January 3. The Rustlers go into the game with a record of 2-1.
