The Comets (7-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Northshore (Slidell, LA). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 11-3 record. In their last challenge, Northshore defeated Archbishop Chapelle (Metairie, LA), 42-39, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the battle the Benjamin Franklin Falcons (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 21. Haynes Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-12 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 3-10 record after their 59-39 non-league win over St. Mary's Academy (New Orleans, LA).
