The James River Knights basketball team scored 39 points and limited the visiting Northside Vikings to 18 in the Knights non-league triumph on Friday.

The Knights now possess a 6-0 record. They play next when they host Staunton River for a non-league game on Saturday, December 21. James River will play a Golden Eagles team coming off a 52-39 non-league win over Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 8-0.

With the loss, Northside falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Vikings host Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA) to play the Blue Demons in a non-league game on Friday, January 3. The Blue Demons go into the game with a record of 5-2. Christiansburg lost 62-37 in their recent league game against Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA)
