In Friday's non-league contest, the host Kailua Surfriders basketball team scored a big 47-22 triumph over the McKinley Tigers.

The Surfriders (10-6) will now prepare for their contest against Kalaheo (Kailua, HI). The Mustangs go into the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Kalaheo was trounced by Farrington (Honolulu, HI), 48-37, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Tigers confront the Kahuku Red Raiders (Kahuku, HI) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 26. McKinley will attempt to better on its 1-11 season record. The Red Raiders go into the contest with a 5-5 record after their 57-31 league win over Kalani (Honolulu, HI).
