The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, IL) and the visiting St. Thomas More Sabers (Champaign, IL), observed Lexington's basketball team overwhelm St. Thomas More by a score of 48-24.

The Minutemen (4-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Calvary Christian Academy (Normal, IL). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 4-6 record. In their last challenge, Calvary Christian Academy was routed by Heyworth (Heyworth, IL), 59-34, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Sabers battle the Paxton-Buckley-Loda Panthers (Paxton, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 21. St. Thomas More will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 46-44 league win over Rantoul (Rantoul, IL).
