Georgia High School Basketball - Thomas County Central sneaks past Liberty County

The Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets (Thomasville, GA) basketball edged the host Liberty County Panthers (Hinesville, GA), 38-36 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Yellow Jackets now possess a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Lincoln for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 26. Thomas County Central will play a Trojans team coming off a 71-47 non-league win over Bay (Panama City, FL). The Trojans record now stands at 6-3.

With the loss, Liberty County falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Bradwell Institute (Hinesville, GA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 4. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 10-1.
