The McMinn Central Chargers basketball team scored 64 points and limited the visiting Ooltewah Owls to 45 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Chargers now possess a 9-1 record. They play next when they travel to Maryville for a non-league game on Friday, December 27.

With the loss, Ooltewah falls to 6-7 on the campaign. The Owls travel to West (Knoxville, TN) to confront the Rebels in a non-league game on Saturday, December 21. The Rebels go into the game with a record of 0-4. West lost 71-12 in their recent league game against Bearden (Knoxville, TN)
