Memorial Day Matadors (Savannah, GA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Mt. Zion Bulldogs (Jonesboro, GA), 35-15 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Memorial Day upgrades its record to 8-2 on the year. The Matadors host Beach (Savannah, GA) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Saturday, December 21. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 4-6. Beach won 46-44 in their recent league match against Long County (Ludowici, GA)

The Bulldogs now sport a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dacula for a non-league match on Friday, December 27. Mt. Zion will face a Falcons squad coming off a 56-40 non-league loss to Archer (Lawrenceville, GA). The Falcons record now stands at 7-5.
