Nebraska High School Basketball - Scotus thwarts Pierce

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Scotus Shamrocks (Columbus, NE) and the visiting Pierce Bluejays (Pierce, NE), observed Scotus's basketball team knock off Pierce by a score of 45-31.

The Shamrocks (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln Christian (Lincoln, NE). The Crusaders come into the non-league challenge with a 7-0 record.

In their next game, the Bluejays encounter the Lutheran-Northeast Eagles (Norfolk, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 3. Pierce will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record.
