Virgin Valley Bulldogs (Mesquite, NV) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Coronado Cougars (Henderson, NV), 32-17 in a league match.

With the victory, Virgin Valley upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year.

The Cougars now sport a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Liberty for a match on Tuesday, January 7. Coronado will face a Patriots squad coming off a 30-16 league loss to Palo Verde (Las Vegas, NV). The Patriots record now stands at 0-1.
