The Lynden Lions basketball team scored 65 points and limited the host Ferndale Golden Eagles to 32 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now possess a 5-0 record. They play next when they host Stanwood for a non-league game on Saturday, December 21. Lynden will confront a Spartans team coming off a 57-53 non-league loss to Glacier Peak (Snohomish, WA). The Spartans record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, Ferndale falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Golden eagles travel to Lakewood (Arlington, WA) to confront the Cougars in a non-league game on Friday, January 3. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 2-3.
