The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Marlboro County Bulldogs (Bennettsville, SC) and the host Scotland Fighting Scots (Laurinburg, NC), observed Marlboro County's basketball team knock off Scotland by a score of 75-62.

The Bulldogs (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Sumter (Sumter, SC). The Gamecocks come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record.

In their next game, the Fighting Scots encounter the Cheraw Braves (Cheraw, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 4. Scotland will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record.
