St. John Bosco Braves (Bellflower, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Mira Costa Mustangs (Manhattan Beach, CA), 70-65 in a non-league match.

With the victory, St. John Bosco upgrades its record to 5-1 on the year. The Braves travel to Glendora (Glendora, CA) to face the Tartans in a non-league match on Saturday, December 21. The Tartans enter the match with a record of 7-7. Glendora lost 70-59 in their recent league match against Ayala (Chino Hills, CA)
