Colorado High School Basketball - Custer County falls to Rye

The Custer County Bobcats basketball squad (Westcliffe, CO), was outscored 69-60 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Rye Thunderbolts (Rye, CO)

With the victory, Rye advances its record to 5-1 on the year. The Thunderbolts host Manitou Springs (Manitou Springs, CO) to encounter the Mustangs in a 4A/3A Tri-Peaks challenge on Wednesday, January 7. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 3-3. Manitou Springs won 82-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Mitchell (Colorado Springs, CO)

In their next game, the Bobcats encounter the Evangel Christian Academy Eagles (Colorado Springs, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 9. Custer County will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 56-21 non-league win over Cotopaxi (Cotopaxi, CO).
