Florida High School Basketball - Palmer Trinity holds off Mater Academy Charter

The Palmer Trinity Falcons basketball team scored 68 points and limited the host Mater Academy Charter Lions to 65 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Falcons now possess a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Cypress Bay for a non-league game on Friday, December 26. Palmer Trinity will confront a Lightning team coming off a 72-48 non-league win over Harlan County (Harlan, KY). The Lightning record now stands at 11-2.

The Lions (8-5) will now prepare for their outing against St. Brendan (Miami, FL). The Sabres come into the non-league outing with a 7-5 record. In their last outing, St. Brendan was nipped by Coral Park (Miami, FL), 46-44, in a non-league outing.
