Colorado High School Basketball - Prairie bested by Wiggins

Wiggins Tigers (Wiggins, CO) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Prairie Mustangs (New Raymer, CO), 40-29 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Wiggins advances its record to 5-1 on the year. The Tigers travel to Haxtun (Haxtun, CO) to battle the Fightin' Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Saturday, January 3. The Fightin' Bulldogs go into the contest with a record of 3-2. Haxtun lost 74-56 in their recent non-league contest against Wiggins (Wiggins, CO)

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Arickaree Bison (Anton, CO) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 9. Prairie will attempt to better on its 6-1 season record. The Bison go into the contest with a 3-2 record after their 44-41 non-league win over Fleming (Fleming, CO).
