In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Surrey Mustangs basketball team scored a big 61-28 triumph over the Tioga Pirates.
The Mustangs (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Drake/Anamoose (Drake, ND). The Raiders go into the B District 6 contest with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Drake/Anamoose was overwhelmed by Washburn (Washburn, ND), 82-44, in a non-league match.
The Pirates now sport a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Stanley for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 30. Tioga will face a Blue Jays squad coming off a 65-31 non-league loss to Killdeer (Killdeer, ND). The Blue Jays record now stands at 0-2.
