In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Grandview Wolves basketball team scored a good 45-35 triumph over the Doherty Spartans.
The Wolves (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against Vista PEAK Prep (Aurora, CO). The Bison go into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Vista PEAK Prep was dropped by Columbine (Littleton, CO), 65-58, in a non-league match.
The Spartans now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mountain Vista for a non-league match on Saturday, January 3. Doherty will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 54-45 non-league win over Chaparral (Parker, CO). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 3-0.
