The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Eagle Rock Eagles (Los Angeles, CA) and the host Summit SkyHawks (Fontana, CA), observed Eagle Rock's basketball team edge Summit by a score of 41-35.
The Eagles (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Cajon (San Bernardino, CA). The Cowboys come into the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Cajon was nudged by San Jacinto (San Jacinto, CA), 71-26, in a non-league match.
The SkyHawks now own a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Etiwanda for a non-league match on Saturday, December 20. Summit will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 39-24 non-league win over Eagle Rock (Los Angeles, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 10-1.
