The Cary Imps defeated the host East Chapel Hill Wildcats basketball team by a tally of 42-30 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Imps now possess a 2-9 record. They play next when they travel to Riverside-Durham for a non-league bout on Monday, December 22. Cary will play a Pirates team coming off a 56-24 non-league win over North Moore (Robbins, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 2-7.

With the loss, East Chapel Hill falls to 0-9 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC) to play the Tigers in a Tobacco Road 6A/7A bout on Tuesday, January 6. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 6-3.
