Mississippi High School Basketball - Scott Central bested by Morton

The Scott Central Rebels basketball squad (Forest, MS), lost 54-37 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Morton Panthers (Morton, MS)

With the victory, Morton advances its record to 12-2 on the year. The Panthers travel to Germantown (Madison, MS) to battle the Mavericks in a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 30. The Mavericks come into the contest with a record of 3-7. Germantown lost 49-22 in their recent non-league contest against Callaway (Jackson, MS)

In their next game, the Rebels battle the Choctaw County Chargers (Ackerman, MS) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 22. Scott Central will attempt to better on its 11-3 season record. The Chargers come into the contest with a 14-4 record after their 65-29 non-league win over Starkville Academy (Starkville, MS).
