Beaverton Beavers (Beaverton, OR) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Wilsonville Wildcats (Wilsonville, OR), 58-57 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Beaverton upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Beavers host Aloha (Beaverton, OR) to play the Warriors in a 6A Metro bout on Friday, January 20. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 1-7.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Xavier Prep Saints (Palm Desert, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 31. Wilsonville will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record.
