California High School Basketball - Bell Gardens overwhelmed by Whittier

The Whittier Cardinals basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the visiting Bell Gardens Lancers to 42 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Cardinals now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to La Puente for a non-league contest on Monday, December 26. Whittier will battle a Warriors team coming off a 48-29 non-league loss to Northview (Covina, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 0-10.

The Lancers (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against St. Genevieve (Panorama City, CA). The Valiants come into the non-league contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, St. Genevieve triumphed over Poly (Sun Valley, CA), 49-46, in a non-league contest.
