The Bishop Lynch Friars (Dallas, TX) basketball were winner over the visiting Van Alstyne Panthers (Van Alstyne, TX), 73-59 in Wednesday's non-league contest.

The Friars now sport a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to White for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 28. Bishop Lynch will battle a Longhorns team coming off a 77-28 league win over Molina (Dallas, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 6-6.

The Panthers (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Peaster (Peaster, TX). The Greyhounds enter the non-league contest with a 12-3 record. In their last contest, Peaster ran past Dublin (Dublin, TX), 84-38, in a league contest.
