Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Word of God Christian Academy Holy Rams (Raleigh, NC) and the visiting Cape Fear Christian Academy Eagles (Erwin, NC), saw Word of God Christian Academy's basketball squad knock off Cape Fear Christian Academy by a count of 81-65.

With the victory, Word of God Christian Academy upgrades its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Holy Rams travel to Moravian Prep (Hudson, NC) to play the Lions in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 22. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 16-3. Moravian Prep won 74-62 in their recent non-league challenge against Brentwood Academy (Brentwood, TN)

Next up, the Eagles play the Clayton Comets (Clayton, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 27. Cape Fear Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Comets come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 64-49 league win over Southeast Raleigh (Raleigh, NC).
