In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Cheney Blackhawks basketball team scored a good 53-43 triumph over the Southridge Suns.
In their next game, the Blackhawks meet the West Valley Eagles (Spokane, WA) in a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane match, on Wednesday, December 28. Cheney will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record.
With the defeat, Southridge moves to 2-4 on the year. The Suns travel to Richland (Richland, WA) to meet the Bombers in a 3A/4A Mid-Columbia match on Saturday, January 7. The Bombers enter the match with a record of 3-2.
