In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North Lions (Laurel, MD) basketball squad nipped the visiting Northern Patriots (Owings, MD), by a margin of 77-76.

The Lions (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South (Upper Marlboro, MD). The go into the Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A outing with a 2-1 record.

The Patriots now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Laurel for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 27. Northern will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 45-31 league loss to Bowie (Bowie, MD). The Spartans record now stands at 3-2.
