City of Life Christian Academy Warriors (Kissimmee, FL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Varsity Opponent (, ), 51-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, City of Life Christian Academy upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Warriors travel to Bishop Moore (Orlando, FL) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 5. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 7-3.

Next up, the clash with the Rochester School for the Deaf Wildcats (Rochester, NY) in a Section 5 Private Parochial bout, on Wednesday, December 21. Varsity Opponent will attempt to upgrade on its 149-518 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 62-27 league loss to Northstar Christian Academy (Rochester, NY).
