Hoover Cardinals (San Diego, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Sweetwater Red Devils (National City, CA), 65-25 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hoover upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Coronado (Coronado, CA) to play the Islanders in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 22. The Islanders go into the bout with a record of 10-3. Coronado won 63-50 in their recent non-league bout against Point Loma (San Diego, CA)

Next up, the Red Devils play the San Bernardino Cardinals (San Bernardino, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 21. Sweetwater will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 4-11 record after their 77-63 non-league loss to Hoover (San Diego, CA).
