The Wren Hurricanes basketball team (Piedmont, SC), was nudged 50-45 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Kentucky Country Day Bearcats (Louisville, KY)
The Bearcats now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grant County for a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 28. Kentucky Country Day will battle a Braves team coming off a 75-60 non-league win over Southridge (Miami, FL). The Braves record now stands at 8-1.
The Hurricanes (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Chapman (Inman, SC). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, Chapman was nudged by Floyd Central (Eastern, KY), 78-63, in a non-league battle.
