The St. Michael Warriors basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting St. Amant Gators to 58 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Warriors now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ponchatoula for a non-league contest on Friday, December 23. St. Michael will meet a Green Wave team coming off a 84-65 non-league win over Walker (Walker, LA). The Green Wave record now stands at 11-4.

The Gators (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Jehovah-Jireh (Baton Rouge, LA). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Jehovah-Jireh was outscored by Iowa (Iowa, LA), 80-49, in a non-league contest.
