Venture Academy Mustangs (Stockton, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Western Sierra Collegiate Academy Wolves (Rocklin, CA), 76-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Venture Academy upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Kimball (Tracy, CA) to play the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 11-4. Kimball won 58-49 in their recent non-league bout against West (Tracy, CA)

Next up, the Wolves play the Colfax Falcons (Colfax, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 22. Western Sierra Collegiate Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 49-39 non-league loss to Bret Harte (Angels Camp, CA).
