The St. Mary's Spartans basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Bishop Verot Vikings to 23 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Spartans now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Andover for a non-league contest on Monday, January 9.

The Vikings (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Boone (Orlando, FL). The Braves enter the non-league contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Boone was routed by Seffner Christian (Seffner, FL), 60-48, in a non-league contest.
